Katie Espy’s Marshfield the Quirkiest!

OTC Katherine_Espy_MarshfieldCongratulations to Drury University’s Katie Espy, who submitted the winning entry in the Ozarks Teacher Corps/Facebook “What’s Quirky About My Hometown Contest.”  Katie posted her entry on https://www.facebook.com/cmiruraledu and her entry received more votes than other quirky entrants.

For winning, Katie receives a $250 charitable prize, which she is donating to the Marshfield Public Schools.  Check out her entry below:

Katie Espy's Quirky: Oriental Inn, a hole-in-the-wall Chinese restaurant in Marshfield, MO, is one of the town’s most popular attractions. Past residents often return home for sole purpose of indulging in one of Mr. Lee’s three legendary types of chicken: cashew, sweet and sour, or hot and spicy. Cash or check only please!

Thanks to Katie and others who participated in this wacky venture.
